Community Action Groups

Community Action Groups (CAGs) each have their own unique way of promoting carbon reduction, and raising awareness of climate change. Each of them run various activities, including: holding swap shops, producing local recycling directories; holding workshops; creating community gardens; promoting local food and setting up community-owned renewable energy share schemes. They work in partnerships with other organisations, like churches, WIs, schools and other local groups to help aid an understanding of the problems of living a more sustainable life and some of the solutions.
