 Burcot and Clifton Hampden Community Action Group
(All meetings, except 19th May, will be in Clifton Hampden Village Hall, beginning at 7:30 p.m.)


Wednesday 14th April - Dr Sarah Watkinson - "Fungi or Fertilizer?" the talk will be about the important association of fungi with the roots of plants, which if managed properly ensure that plants can acquire adequate nutrients for growth, without the need for artificial inputs.

 

Wednesday 19th May - Ms Jo Clark - Northmoor Trust Forestry Manager - tour round Paradise Wood (between Long and Little Wittenham) to see some of the trials devoted to the breeding of broadleaved trees, including Ash, Cherry, Beech, Oak and Walnut. Meet at the small Neptune Wood car park (on the right, going towards Little Wittenham) at 7:30 p.m.
