Angela Palmer talks about the genesis of her project Ghost Forest and its ongoing journey. Drawing attention to threatened rainforests worldwide and deforestation's impact on the world's climate, Ghost Forest is a remarkable installation consisting of tree trunks that Palmer brought from primary rainforests in Ghana.
In 2009 they were exhibited in Trafalgar Square and later in Copenhagen, coinciding with the UN Climate Change Conference. Ghost Forest is sited on the front lawn of Oxford University Museum of Natural History and the Pitt Rivers Museum until 31 July 2011.
