Saturday 5 February - There are no more monthly green waste collections at the Spendlove because everyone can now register for a free fortnightly green waste collection from their own house. However, CAWAG is still collecting Tetra Paks (drink cartons) on the first Saturday each month, until WODC arrange the contract for their collection in the household black recycling boxes. Bring your flattened Tetra Paks along and deposit them in the large builders skip next to the recycling bins, I then take them to Dean Pit for recycling. This year we are also collecting dead lightbulbs and CDs/DVDs for recycling, please put these in the black box next to the Tetra Pak bag at the Spendlove.
