The Swap Shops run on the third Saturday of every month, from 11am to 1pm.

Swap Shops are a great opportunity to drop off your unwanted but re-usable items which are in good condition and/or take away something which you will find useful. You don't have to bring something to take something away - and you don't have to take anything if you bring something. Everything is free, so come along and join the fun!

The CAG also holds special Games Grabs for children's toys and games during the summer holidays, using the same principles.

All leftover items will be kept for the next swap, offered to local charities, recycled, or as a last resort, sent to landfill for disposal. All items are weighed in and out of the swap shop, so that we have a record of how much we helped to recycle and prevent going to landfill, to give us a warm fuzzy feeling.

Please only bring items which are re-usable, non-hazardous and clean.
Great news! From January 2009 we will be able to accept and swap electrical items.

The Glad Community Café

During Swap Shop hours we also run the Glad Community Café, which serves hot and cold drinks, and delicious home made cakes and samosa.
