Description
Chicken day: keeping chickens in your garden and on your allotment, Saturday 12th June (Local Food event)
Two workshops.
First Workshop: 11am: meet and greet Lorraine's Chickens!. Meet local chicken owner Lorraine Jackson and her chickens! Pet and stoke the chickens on site. Ask Lorraine how she looks after her chickens in a small Oxford garden.
Second Workshop : 2pm: learn how to keep chickens at your allotment, by Julia Hollander author of 'Chicken Coops for the Soul'.
The Garden is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 5pm from Easter to the autumn.
