Sunday 10 October 2010 is the 10:10:10 Global Day of Action and since this is ChOC's regular monthly film evening, they will be showing the film Dirty Oil as our local event. The film shows the devastating strip mining of the Tar Sands in Alberta, Canada - the impact on the environment and the health of the local indiginous people. The oil they produce from the tar sands is destined for the fuel-hungry American market.
