Would you like to make useful or beautiful things out of waste bits and pieces? The Waste Reduction Group of 'Low Carbon South Oxford' are organising a free Upcycling Workshop from 1.00 - 3.00pm on Saturday 3rd March at South Oxford Community Centre, Lake street.  You can learn to make a belt out of an old bicycle inner tube, a wallet out of a drinks carton, jewellery beads out of magazines, and note-books out of cereal packets.  You can bring any of these items along if you want to recycle them, but materials will be provided.  Activities suitable for adults, and children accompanied by an adult.  The Community Centre will be running a café.
