Description

'The Economics of Happiness'

Friday 9th March 2012 at Shush, Newbury Street, Wantage 7pm £2 entry

‘The Economics of Happiness’ is an hour long documentary which explores the unwelcome effects of globalisation and looks at ways communities are coming together to re-build more human scale, ecological economies based on a different concept – the economics of localisation. Followed by updates of local food initiatives from Simon Kenton of Community Action Groups who will introduce Community Kitchens, and Dan Betterton from Cultivate (as heard on Radio 4!) who will tell us about the local ‘Community Supported Agriculture’ project he is involved with.
