One of 2000 local groups affiliated to Friends of the Earth in England. Campaign on local, national and international environmental issues.

26   Link   HarBUG- Harwell Bicycle Users Group
Harwell Bicycle Users Group are a group of cyclists campaigning to make it easier to cycle to the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus and to improve facilities for cyclists and cycling on site.

The Environmental Change Institute at the University of Oxford has created a free on-line home energy monitoring website on home energy use. imeasure is about helping householders track energy use over time (unlike traditional carbon calculators) where users can set up carbon clubs for their own communities.

www.oxnet.org.uk or www.ocva.org.uk (Oxnet is the online information service) OCVA is the umbrella organisation for the voluntary and community sector in Oxfordshire. There mission is to enable a diverse voluntary and community sector to flourish, by providing advice, information and training, and build partnerships.

This yahoo group is a friendly grop where people can share information and discuss freecycling. However it does not stop there. Recent discussions range around home-made Christmas presents, recommendations for a plasterer and so forth.

Draws together the many interests that touch upon wildlife and landscape in Oxfordshire. It is a partnership of conservation organisations, farming bodies, environmental and recreation interests, as well as local government. They run an excellent weekly email bulletin.
