Community Action Groups - CAG Oxfordshire
Buscot CAG

This group formed at the end of 2004 and launched their 'waste awareness' work to their community with a Christmas tree shredding event. People who came along were given information about other ways they can help to reduce their waste locally.

Christmas cards were also collected in both Buscot and Coleshill, who also has a CAG. These were then donated to The Woodland Trust to fund their great work and plant new trees.

The Chair of Buscot CAG, Eileen Robinson organised a successful series of events including a 'junk' art workshops and several swap shops.

What'shappening now in Buscot?

Because of the size of the village and the need for more volunteers it has been decided that Coleshill and Buscot CAGs should amalgamate.

If you would like to get involved in the Buscot CAG, please get in touch!
