Wantage Area Climate Action (WACA) is a group of people who are concerned about the effects of climate change. By working together we hope to increase awareness of the issue and reduce carbon-producing activity in the local area.

Current Focus

We are frequently to be seen at local events behind our informative stalls – you may have seen us in our previous guise of “The Wantage and Grove Green People”. Since our inception in 2006 we have organised a number of successful events and campaigns. Our current focus is on domestic energy usage and ways to reduce it. There is much more we would like to do. The more involvement we have from the community, the more becomes possible.
