Community Action Groups - CAG Oxfordshire
Woodcote Community Acton Group

Woodcote Community Action Group aims to encourage people in the local community around Woodcote to reduce, reuse and recycle waste in the community.

Woodcote CAG holds regular swap shops in the village hall - see CAG event list for details. These are ideal opportunities for people in the village to bring their reusable, but unwanted goods for exchange.

Swap Shops

New to our Swap Shops: Used cooking oil (in sealed containers please) may also be brought, as it will be converted for use as a bio-fuel by a local company. Textiles will be collected and used by another local company to make new products from them.

Electrical items, PAT tested at the Swap Shops, may be swapped or taken, if the PAT test is successful.

The latest initiative of the group is to encourage people to use reusable bags and thus cut down on the use of plastic ones.
