OXFORD COHOUSING

We are a group of mostly Oxford residents who wish to build an ‘intentional community’ – a neighbourhood of 30-40 homes, sustainably designed with neighbourliness and sharing at its heart. Residents have their own homes, and can share cooking and eating; laundry; guest, work and outdoor space.

The Oxford group also intend the community to be of mixed tenure, with some permanent and genuine affordability built in. It will be zero-carbon/energy generating. There will be shared car use.

The core group meet fortnightly and we hold open meetings, usually every month, for associate members and interested other.
