2021 marked 20 years since CAG Oxfordshire was founded. Since then we’ve grown from a handful of groups to a network of over 100 working across the county on all sorts of issues. In order to celebrate the network’s achievements we worked in partnership with Arts at the Old Fire Station to showcase 20 stories of climate action from around the CAG network.
We wanted to show off what climate action we do in all of the creative ways we can. This collaborative project between Oxfordshire community action groups and artists culminated in an exhibition From the Ground Up: Stories of Climate Action at the Old Fire Station in Oxford. The exhbition then went on to travel around the county to different communtiy locations.
A dedicated website was created to showcase the strories and artworks and a film about the exhbition and creative processes involved was produced which can be viewed here:
