21st CENTURY THAME ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP

21st Century Thame is a Town Partnership set up to facilitate projects which enhance the town for residents, businesses and visitors alike. Our aim and vision is to enhance the historic market town of Thame by protecting its past and promoting its future as a vibrant and flourishing centre serving the whole community.

The Environmental group is a working group of 21st Century Thame, who have been part of the CAG network since 2006.

In the past we have set up a variety of initiatives including swap shop events, the annual ‘Thame Tidy’ event and a reusable bag scheme, as well as providing support for the creation of new cycle paths and local walking and cycling maps.

Currently we are working on:

Supporting the Town Council Green Living Plan.
Organising an Eco Fair for 2017.
Encouraging walking and cycling rather than car use within Thame.
