GREENER GREAT COXWELL

Greener Great Coxwell is involved in a range of biodiversity and community energy initiatives. We have close links with the National Trust who are major landowners in our parish. Members are working on the Great Barn pond and the Memorial Garden wilding area. We are investigating a community orchard. Energy projects range from working with Faringdon council and the Low Carbon Hub to make the Solar Streets and Cosy Homes initiatives available to our village. We are also preparing grant applications to the Greater South East Energy Hub for RCEF funding for a feasibility study for a District Heating scheme for the village.
