We are looking for individuals to bring fresh energy, skills and experience to our Board of Directors.

IS THIS YOU?
Are you passionate about community action and climate justice?
Do you enjoy meeting new people who bring new ideas and enjoy working together?
Does contributing to conversations about the future Oxfordshire you/we want to see excite you?
Do you want to flex your brain muscles and learn new skills through Board experience?
If so, then download our Board Recruitment Pack.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are primarily looking for a Chair to join our current make up of six Board Members. We are open to either one person holding the Chair role or our current Chair is willing to Co-Chair while you find your feet.
Some key skills we are looking for are listed below, based on the skills required across all Board members. We don't expect anyone to tick all these boxes (more to help you think about how your skills and experience could transfer to this role). This is a voluntary role with support and space to learn and develop.
Line management - ideally in senior leadership or a third-sector executive but all experience will be considered.
HR, management experience, and employment law
Accounting or financial management experience
Business development and business planning (ideally in social economy/community business)
Individuals that are well networked with strategic partners/funders/institutions locally and beyond
Lived experience within communities most impacted by climate injustice
There's lots of information in our Recruitment pack about the time commitment and skills we are looking for and also the benefits to being on our Board. If you would prefer the pack in a different format or just want to have a chat about it, please give us a call on 07367 810901 or drop an email to katherine@cagoxfordshire.org.uk
Applications should be sent to info@cagoxfordshire.org.uk by 14th November 2025
